COPE is the College Opportunity to Prepare for Employment program established 20 years ago to provide support services to a population of students receiving public assistance through the Human Resources Administration of New York City. The program is geared towards students enrolled full time in approved vocationally-oriented associate degree programs, and is collaboration between the City University of New York (CUNY) and the City of New York’s Human Resources Administration Office of Employment Services.

The program provides various forms of support ranging from assistance in locating child care, to job placement and counseling, for families in need and attending CUNY colleges.

Atlantis is a 47-year old cricket club whose motto is, Atlantis…more than just cricket!  The club makes every effort to live up to its motto by contributing to community activities including Toys for Tots, Coat Drives, and an educational scholarship fund established after the tragic circumstances of 911.
