So many certified coaches from around the country that have invested their time and money to get certified and they go with an uncertified person. What a joke, all in the name of vote getting drive for Dainty.
I do hope that the selectors have taken ability and performance as their criteria in naming the players to represent us. This is the only way we would be able to get our best player to represent us.
In the past many other criteria, other that ability and performance, were considered: friendship, nepotism, etc. I hope that that era has passed.
I see also that the unconstitutionally occupying Board has named a new Selection Committee. First Krish Prasad was replaced by Jeddy as the Cricket Committee Chairman, and now Sew Shivnarain has been replaced by Selwyn Caesar as Chair of Selection Committee. There is certainly something going wrong here.
The Board is weeding out people to put in their own so that they can have total control of all aspects of our cricket.
As the USACA executive told me in Florida in December 2011, “Our cricket is going nowhere”.
This is a joke USA cricket is not going anywhere I am convinced after reading the above mentioned article. Its a real shame where we are heading and we all know very well where we are heading to “Band aka suspended” by the ICC our president (Gladstone Danty) has failed us as a leader. He came to New York last fall and made it seem we had a few USACA board members who was not fit to serve as board members and he abruptly removed them.I have known Mr John Aaron, Krish Prasad,Sew Shivnarain and our USA national coach Mr Clayton Lambert for Decades and i am very impressed with their professionalism its a real “SHAME” the length people would go to attain POWER! Our coach was removed and replaced by Robin Singh “WHAT” a joke, he has not spent a full month with our players prior to any tours.HOW CAN HE EVALUATE OUR PLAYERS? a total waste of money. Sorry cricket fans our leaders at the top continues to failed us.

Here we go again! Mr”.Sly “caesar is at work once again. This is guy who always put his mouth were the “soup leaks”. He was the guy who was always close to guys in this Region and now he is with Mr.Dainty.Caesar when are going to be a man and do the right thing, that is stand up and don’t take sides.
Sam you that’s not going to stop. If you asked those selectors if the know all the players and where the are from, don’t be surprised by their answers. A guy in the squad was picked as a New Yorker but he not from here. Also why pick three keepers in that group.Gordon should not be there, time and time again he has proven the selectors wrong, guy can’t even make Region team.
As far as coaches and managers and physio that ‘s a different chapter. Cricket in USA is going nowhere, bottom line. All those guys will always pick their friends and family.
Just want to known one thing how did the come up with the list the have
Folks, look carefully at a breakdown of the names of players called to camp av by Regions and look at the names of the people on the selection committee and you would see the corelations.
Hey, nothing new, just a neww selection committee, but same thing…
nothing has changed, just new clones have been created.
thats why cricket is going nowhere in the usa
At least this group has lots of youngsters instead of some 40+ year old players picked by previous selector (Shiv) and his team. They have arranged the best camp as per the players and coaches and selectors were there. This may not please everyone but its far better then before and they will groom these younger players for future too. Let us hope they will do better then what the old horses did previously.
