EACA TAKES ON NY ACADEMY to “scout the talents available in the New York Region. I would assume that other games will be held exposing under 19 players from the other leagues in the Region.. or is this just an EACA thing seeing that the NY Region’s Administration is “top heavy” with personnel from the EACA.
May I remind the NY Region Administration that we are preparing for a REGIONAL UNDER – 19 CHAMPIONSHIP, hence kids from all the leagues in the NY Region MUST have equal opportunity to make the squad.
And why against the NY Academy? Is there avested interest here in the game being against the NY Academy? Just asking……..
There seems to be a disease in cricket governance around the country where “suits” in power are furthering their own preferences and I am hoping that the New York Region has not been infected with this malady.
Uncle Sam:
The NY Cricket Academy is made up of players from different league. This was the main reason why the Academy was started. Players such as Troy Mars plays in American league, and Yogindra Dass plays in Metro. league. Amit Seenarine plays on Commonwealth league, Zahib Tariq plays in Brooklyn league and etc..
Players from different leagues are welcomed to represent the NY Cricket Academy. It’s a fully insured organisation.
Ricky, I am thankful for the information. I am especially glad that all league are represented. Just looking to ensure that all the youths have their entitlement.
