Striker won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 199 all out in 35 overs. Shabaz Ahmed made 63 and Mohsin Riaz 30. Suleman, Wasiq, and Faisal took 2 wickets each for Paki Pride.

In reply Paki Pride made made 71 for the loss of 4 wickets in 16 overs. Mohammed Nadir took 2 wickets for Striker. Paki Pride needed to maintain the net run rate of 5.68 which they didn’t, before rain stopped play. Their run rate was 4.43 at that time. Striker won the match through net run rate and move on to next round.

Bachan winning the toss elected to bat first.  Bachan’s seasoned players were ready for the opposition, opening the bat V. Somai and B. Somai were great in the early stages of the game. At the 11th over, Bachan was streaming threw Seven Star bowlers to all corners of the park with 109 runs partnership. Finally, V. Somai was out for 26. A. Deodat then joined B. Somai who started the onslaught with 8 sixes and 6 fours for his knock of 108. A. Deodat 60 runs continued though with R Somai who made 42 in record time.

With 30 overs gone the score was 258.  S. Persaud and A. Ramdial at the crease, Ramdial slammed 4 fours to boost the runs, as Bachan reached 311 for 7.  This is B. Somai second century for the year.

In Reply Seven Star went in with a vengence but couldn’t handle the spin of A. Deodat. Seven Star was 68 for 2 wickets in the 9th over. There batsman refused to continue play because of the rain and playing conditions.
