Week #5, Sunday June 20th, 2010
In the game of the season to date, Lincoln LeBlanc leads West Indian Alliance to victory over United Sports Club. West Indian Alliance needing 11 runs to win from the last two deliveries had Lincoln LeBlanc facing the experienced Ram Singh. LeBlanc connected with both deliveries, hitting to mighty sixes to win the game for West Indian Alliance.

Game Summary:
United Sports vs. West Indian Alliance

United won the toss and elected to bat first making 130 off of their allotted 20 Overs. Gavesh Arjune 28 runs, David Mohamed 24 runs, Steve Massiah 14 runs and Trevor Singh 11 Not Out.
Bowling for WI Alliance: L. LaBlanc, A. St Jean and M. Perkins picked up 2 wickets each while C. Baptise and C. Carbon picked up 1 wicket each.
In reply, WI Alliance made 132 Runs and won the game with a last ball 6 runs. E. Charlie 35, K. Persaud 33 and L. LaBlanc 17 not out.
Bowling for United Sports: K. Singh took 3 wkts for 26 runs, G. Lorick took 2 wkts for 18 runs and D. Mohammed took 2 wkts for 18 runs.
Result: West Indian Alliance won

Hempstead CC vs. Vikings CC
Batting first, Hempstead CC made 147 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.  The primary contributors were: Peter DaSilva 38 runs, Alvin Kalimottoo 31 runs and Gobin Deosarran 18 runs.
Bowling for Vikings CC:  V. Persaud, M. Kanhai, and Nankumar took 2 wickets each for 14, 31, and 15 runs respectively.
In reply, Vikings CC made 112 runs all out in 19.5 overs.  M. Kanhai 23, D. Sewnarine 21, and Nankumar 15.
Bowling for Hempstead CC: Tariq Javed, Peter DaSilva, Angel Acharia, and Herman Singh took 2 wickets each for 14, 16, 14 and 2 runs respectively.
Result: Hempstead won by 35 runs.

Brooklyn Queens vs. International
Batting first, International was bowled out for 87 runs in 19.4 overs.
Bowling for Brooklyn Queens: Pino 3 wkts. for 9 runs, N. Rampersad 3 wkts for 14 runs and K. Roopnarine 3 wkts for 23 runs.
In reply, Brooklyn Queens made 88 runs for 2 wickets. Steve Samuel 32 runs,  A. Roopnarine 28 runs not out and K. Ramkalawan 15 runs not out.
Bowling for International: Narine and Kistona 1 wicket each.
Result: Brooklyn Queens won by 8 wickets.

Richie Sieuchan struck 87 has Pure Players defeated Breakaway.

Breakaway vs. Pure Players
Batting first, Pure Players scored 202 for 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. R. Sieuchan 87 runs, V. Raichandra 56 runs and R. Bridgemohan 31.
In reply, Breakaway made 133 for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Barry Jainauth 53 runs and Narine Persaud 36 runs.
Bowling for Pure Players: R. Sieuchan 2 wkts for 10 runs and N. Ramoutar 2 wkts for 21.
Result: Pure Players won by 69 runs.

Ramdeen Sports vs. West Demerara
West Dem won the toss and batted first. West Dem made 165 runs in their allotted 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Amar Persaud, the under-15 youth sensation, made 62 runs (4×4,9×2,4×3), Andre Persaud 15 runs, S. Seepersaud 20 runs and R. Singh 21 runs not out.
Bowling for Ramdeen Sports: S. Sookhoo 3 wkts for 23 runs, F. Hoosein 2 wkts  for 24 runs.
In reply, Ramdeen CC began at a very brisk rate. At one stage they were 74 runs for 3 wickets, however, when the youths were introduced , they collapsed to 84 runs for the loss of 8 wickets – when the match came top a close. R. Kendall made 35 runs, N. Rampersaud 19 runs and T. Ramkissoon 8 runs.
Bowling for West Demerara: Amar Singh and R. Doodnath (both youths) bowled 3 overs each. Amar  took 2 wkts for 17 runs and Doodnath 2 wkts for 16 runs.
