American College Cricket today announced the dates of the 2011 American College Cricket Spring Break Championship will be March 15-20, 2011. March 15 – 19 will feature the Playoffs, followed by the Semi-finals and Finals on March 20th.
Whilst trying to create cricket teams in the City University of NY system I arranged a game, and collected cricketers attending CUNY schools to play.

The University of the West Indies fast bowlers at the 2010 American College Cricket Championship reminded me some of the feared West Indian pacers – they were fast, and bowled with attitude, hit them and they came charging up determined to let it fly faster, and at your chest or helmet.
