The Irfan Malik sponsored T20 semi-finals and finals is on this Sunday April 26, at the Ferry Point Park (Whitestone). The action will get underway at 11 am sharp with two semi-final games. Strikers will take on Pak-America and Smashers will come up against Queens Combined in the semi-finals. The two winners will battle for championship honor at 2.30 pm with $2,500 going to the winner and $1,500 to the runner up.

All four teams have strong line up: Strikers will include likes of Irfan Malik, Dhaniram, Sieunarine, Sarmad Khan, Brian Murphy, Shabazz and Nadir. Queens Combine will be led by Neil McGarrel and includes: Kevin Darlington, Evans, Stanislaus, Sadloo, Adams, Farooq, Nandall, Sankar and Kissoon. Smashers will comprise of Hajari, Anush, Blair, Manraj, Azim and Clain Williams. Pak-America will be spearheaded by Shazad, Razack, Wahab, Hunan, Sabir and Anjum.

It promises to be an exciting start to 2009 cricket season.
