The Public School Athletic League (PSAL) of New York City 2009 Cricket Season gets underway Saturday, April 18, 2009 with six (6) games scheduled.

Games are 20/20 format and are played everyday of the week except Sundays. The final is schedule for Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Gateway Park, Brooklyn, New York.

The number of participating High Schools has increased from fourteen (14) in 2008 (the program inaugural season) to twenty-three (23) in 2009.
