Collapsed Against NY Challengers

Under some steamy weather, NY Challengers took on Vikings at Floyd
Bennett field, Challengers won the toss and decided to take first
strike and let Vikings feel the heat.
Challengers got off to a shaky start when the lost their in form batsman
Q. Farrouq in the third over for 10. But Ramsingh and Hemchand Hadeo
put on a second wicket partnership of 140 runs, Hardeo went for 59,
and Ramsingh shortly after for 81.
Captain Steve Massiah came to the crease and added an unbeaten 91
run fourth wicket partnership with Pathay. S. Massiah hitting 71 not
out and Pathay 30 not out. Challengers finish with 264-3 of 40 overs.
Nan and Persaud had one wicket apiece.
In return Vikings were all out for a meager 131. Mark Gomes was the
only batsman showing any resistant getting 54.
Challengers’ 17 year old Claymon Rose continued his fine form
with the ball grabbing 3 for 17, S. Massiah 2 for 20 and M. Ramdas
2 for 39.
