Young Brothers Better Hope

Eagle Lounge was the favorite by fifty to one to win and team Manager Ian Maharaj had already prepared a spot to place his winning trophy. Only problem is that he would not need all the space as the second place trophy is a little smaller.

The Eagle Lounge team with the Gopaul brothers and the Durga‘s this team was better by far on paper, but then again the game is played on the field and will be won on the field.
Young Brothers are the division II A champions and Gunga of Young Brothers was award the man of the match in the finals.

Better Hope II Survived the Heat
Better Hope II after a bad first competition, survived the “Heat” last Sunday in the division IIB finals and are crowned the champions.

Better Hope II won the toss and bat first scoring the highest total score in all the finals on this day, 262 for 6 wickets. J. Aproo top score with 80 which earned him the man of the match award, he was well supported by C. Singh 61 and N. Ramroop 33.

The Heat batsmen could not withstand the spin attack of K. Mangra (3-28) and J. Mahabir (4-21) and were all out for a mere 125, D. Sanichara top score with 50 and R. Haripaul chipped in with 23.
