Eagles Crushed Rebels By 125 Runs

The Eagles team made an impressive 257 runs in their allotted 25
overs against Rebels at the Flushing Park last Sunday.

Lead by a magnificent 52 runs from Steve Sookhoo,
whose innings consist on 5 fours and 1 six, set up the Eagles to
reach this mammoth total, with excellent batting also from Ramesh
Ramsamooj 38, Raj Singh 38, Rudradat Durga 28, Asif Mohamed 26,
and Captain Alvin Gopaul 22.
The batting was backed up by excellent bowling
and fielding with 2 wickets each from Rudradat Durga, Vishal Singh
and Sham Singh, bowling Rebels out in the 19th over for 130.

Young West Indies won the toss and surprisingly
ask the brothers to take first strike.
Batting first they scored 176 for 6 off 25 overs
with V.Gunga blasting a good 104 not out along with P. Ramphal 24
and K.Ramphal 17.
Young West Indies bowlers took Sunil 2-43, Irshad, Roy and Allan
taking one wicket apiece.
In reply Young West Indies scored 158 for 7 off
25 overs with Richard 60, Danny 33 and Sunil 20 were the topscores
