Wins For Hustler, Falcons And United Brothers As Untouchables Fall To Titans

Kris Sobhai Dominate

Kris Sobhai continues his dominant form with the ball as Hustlers trash Cavaliers by seven wickets. Cavaliers won the toss and chose to bat only manage to post 82 runs all out. Kris continues his good form with the ball and did most of the damage picking up 6 for 14 in 4.2 overs.

In the opening game last week against Braveheart, he picked up 5 wickets included a hat-trick. Popie support Kris with 2 for 10 in 5 overs. Only Earpalli mange a good score with 22. Hustlers in reply knockoff the total losing 3 wickets, Asif made 33 and Pooran 22.

Falcons Defeat Better Hope B

Falcon’s captain won the toss and chose to take the field. This match was played in Far Rockaway. Better Hope B openers put up a good partnership of 80 runs before S. Singh was run out for 22 runs. N. Ramroop was bowled by Navin Nauratan for a well played 67 runs. Better Hope B Team batted the entire 25 overs losing 7 wickets for a good total of 161 runs.

Falcon’s team had their work cut out for them to capture their second victory. Azam Khan went early after being caught off of Ken Mangra for 4 runs. But N. Tiwari decided to take full control, hitting the ball very hard to all part of the field. His resilient batting skills pushed the Falcons team in a safe zone. He made a brilliant 47 runs after being caught off of C. Singh. Falcons were determined to seize victory; Vick Ramnarine had a good knock of 39 runs and was out caught off of N. Ramroop. Captain Navin Bipat 20 not out and Arif 25 not out got the job done. Falcons lost 5 wickets with one over to spare.

Another victory for the United Brothers

It was a very windy and chilled Sunday as United Brother embarked on their second mission of the new season against the New Horizon C.C at the Whitestone Park, Bronx NY.

New Horizon won the toss and took the field with a great start they removed our opening batsmen, and had the Brothers on the defense but with dedication and intense team work the United Brothers managed to bounced back, with responsible batting from each players the Brotherhood was back on track for 121 runs all out.

New Horizon probably thought it was a walk in the park but the Brothers was confident that it was not going down easily.

In reply it was another week of dominating bowling performances from Captain, Alvin Gopaul and Vice Captain, Vishal Singh striking 3 wickets each, followed by Rudradath Durga 2 wickets and Ravin and Kevin Gopaul 1 wicket each. New Horizon was shut down for 99 all out 22 overs.
