Tackles Trinidad In Indo Caribbean Clash

Two strong teams representing Guyana and Trinidad will clash in the
17th staging of the Indo Caribbean Federation game being held in honor
of former West Indies allrounder Bernard Julian.
According to organizers, collections will be held during the 40-overs
a side clash for Julian who is recovering from surgery for throat
cancer.
Julian flew into New York on Wednesday and is highly enthused at the
support bestowed on him by the game’s organizers.
He said he has not been to New York in 25 years and is eagerly looking
forward to be part of the annual match.
The game will be at Whitestone Park in the Bronx and Guyana will field
a star studded side to be led by United States captain Steve Massiah.
Star Guyana player Lennox Cush will also play along with established
stars Vishal Nagamootoo, Zamin Amin and Deryck Kallicharran.
Longstanding Glen Lorrick will lead Trinidad which has David Mohamed,
Richard Sieuchand and Jerry Jumadeen.
The action will start at 11 am and a half time show will entertain
fans during the innings change over.
